Private Events
Located outside of Livingston Manor, The Arnold House sits on top of Shandelee Mountain, and situated on 80 acres of land. We offer private lunches, brunches, afternoon teas, dinners or cocktail parties and weddings from 10 to 200 people. These events can be held in our Tavern, Shandelee Hall Dining Room, Sun Room, Greenhouse, newly renovated Barn & Greenhouse or outside in the meadows and gardens. Our goal is to work with each individual party to make sure we customize to taste, style and budget. Our culinary offerings change periodically based on what is in season so please make sure you check with us for the latest and greatest - and to customize your meal to exactly what you want. Another popular option is to escape to the Arnold for a group getaway - whether its your birthday bash or an Team retreat, by renting all 16 rooms, you have the 'House' to yourself. Our chef can work with you to create group dinner menus and our team can organize many different activities - both on and offsite - during your stay.

Pole Barn & Greenhouse
Set behind the main house, and at the edge of the meadows and gardens is our newly renovated Pole Barn & Greenhouse. Host anything from casual slow-cooked BBQs to pig roasts to live music events, special dinners and weddings. Events hosted in the barn can easily be expanded across the grounds of the property and include our fire pit to help round out an evening of celebration. The Greenhouse offers a bright & airy space for ceremonies, cocktail hour and intimate receptions - year-round! Rustic handmade farm tables, edison bulb drop lighting and a huge assortment of vintage serving trays, props, vases and candleholders are available for use as well.
Shandelee Hall Dining Room
Our newly renovated Shandelee Hall dining room is on the main floor of the Inn. This large, open concept space can comfortably fit 100 guests and has its own built in service bar.
Sun Room
Like your home family room, the Arnold Sun Room tends to be the most lived in room of the house. Given its cozy seating, crackling fireplace, cookie plates and board games, its no wonder this is the heart of our Shandelee hilltop! This room is all yours if you rent out all of our rooms - and even if not, still a place to curl up with a book and your slippers. Smaller private events and dinners can also be held in this room.
Tavern
The Tavern at the Arnold is open for lunch on weekends and dinner year round to our houseguests as well as the larger community. Most events held here are smaller and are limited based on availability and timing so as not to disrupt general service. On rare occasions, the Arnold Team may consider closing the tavern for a private event.
Meadows and Grounds
When you are in the Catskills, what better way to celebrate with those you love than to host your event outside? The grounds at The Arnold House offer 80 acres of land and an abundance of event spaces including a barn & greenhouse for outdoor dinners and music, gardens, a large bonfire pit, meadows, a small pond, and horseshoe pits. We can curate unique group activities including boot camps, relay races, terrarium building or floral arrangement workshops, garden tours, group runs, yoga and more.
